AJ'z Washing Instructions
Care Instructions for your
AJ'z Wonderful Wool Soakers
- Your soaker has been prewashed and lanolized prior to shipping, so it is ready to wear.
- Your soaker is easy to care for!
- Simply machine wash in cool or warm water on delicate, using a gentle detergent, such as Ivory Snow.
- Or you can hand wash it with Eucalan no-rinse wool wash.
- Dry in your dryer on low heat.
- The manufacturer suggests machine drying, as it will keep your soaker from stretching out of shape.
- When your soaker needs lanolizing, simply add some lanolin to a measuring cup with some water and melt it in in the microwave.
- Add some lanolin and some detergent, (or baby shampoo, or any other gentle cleanser) and let soak in a sink of hot water for about 15 minutes.
- Wring out gently by rolling in a towel, and dry as usual!
- The colours may bleed a bit at first, so care is necessary when washing for the first few times, until all excess dye has been removed.
