Create a Free Online Banner
To make your free banner online, go to
http://www.abcbanners.com/mlinks/links.pl
- Pick a banner background -
there are 95 banners to choose from! To make your banner,
click on the banner background of your choice. For the
banner above, I chose the third one down, on the 13th
page.
- Pick your font (style
of lettering). For the banner above, I chose the
first font in the left-hand column. Choose your font -
then scroll down and hit NEXT.
- Write out the first part of
your text - I wrote Make-Your-Own and chose 24
for the font size.
- Choose solid or textured
lettering. I chose textured. Click NEXT.
- Choose your texture from
the previews shown. I chose the first one in the second
row from the left. Click NEXT.
- Click the spot on the
banner where you want the top left corner of your text to
begin. If it doesn't look placed right, you will get a
chance to move it later.
- If it looks great - go on
to step 8. If not, click on MOVE.
- Now it's time to add your
second line, so click on ADD MORE TEXT TO THIS BANNER.
Choose your font again. This time I chose the third down
in the right hand column.
- I wrote ThemeStream
Library and chose 24 as the font size again, and
solid this time. Click NEXT.
- Choose your text color. I
chose NAVY (#1C0B5A)
- Select the text position -
place it beneath the first line and try to centre it.
- If it looks great - your
banner is done. If not, click on MOVE.
- Now, click on the link that
says: YOUR IMAGE IS LOCATED AT:
http://www.abcbanners.com/created/banner-xxx.jpg (xxx =
your banner number). When your banner pops up,
right-click your mouse button (click with the button on
the right-hand side of your mouse). A menu will pop up,
choose SAVE PICTURE AS.
- When the window pops up,
save your banner to the same directory that you write
your articles in, so you can find it easily. Give it a
name you will remember, click SAVE.
- You are done!
